She has a background in sculpture and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan, and completed the Core Fellowship program at Penland School of Crafts in 2014. She now works primarily as a basket weaver and teacher of weaving, blacksmithing, and ceramics, in addition to designing jewelry. \u003c\/span\u003eShe also works sculpturally with metal, fibers, and found objects to create sculptures and installations that explore the intersections of industrial and natural material cultures.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\"\u003eFor the last several years, she has  been weaving baskets with foraged material, often invasive vines such as kudzu, wisteria, and honeysuckle.
