Jasmine Oolong
This Jasmine Oolong is a lightly oxidized oolong produced on a small tea farm in Mộc Châu, Sơn La Province. After harvest, the tea leaves are sun-dried and shaken in traditional bamboo drums before withering and drum-firing. The leaves are then rolled and dried up to ten times to create their ball-shaped form before they are sent to Hanoi to be carefully blended with jasmine flowers. During this process, the tea leaves are layered with jasmine buds overnight, then separated and layered again. This meticulous cycle is repeated for several nights until the tea becomes fully infused with the fragrance of jasmine. It is becoming increasingly harder to find naturally scented jasmine tea produced in this traditional way due to the skill and time required to create such an exceptionally fragrant tea.
