Wild Grown Green Tea
This wild green tea is hand-picked from old, large tea trees that are cultivated and tended by Hmong families within the town of Lũng Phìn of Hà Giang province in Vietnam. These wild tea trees grow in a biodiverse environment with high pH levels in the soil, giving this tea its strong and complex characteristics that taste better as each year passes. The combination of the soil condition and climate in this area only allows for three short harvests each year. After the tea leaves are harvested and carefully processed in small quantities, the leaves are then dried in a cast iron pan over a wood fire, creating a light smoky, aromatic finish. Packaging size: 50g (about 14 servings with multiple steepings per serving)
