Farm Grown Green Tea

This traditional Vietnamese style green tea is grown on a small farm in the Tân Cương district of Thái Nguyên province located about two hours north of Hanoi. Thái Nguyên is well-known as the largest producer of high-quality green tea in northern Vietnam. The combination of the microclimate and mountainous terrain of Tân Cương makes the tea that is grown here distinct and unique to this particular region. To make this tea, the smallest bud and youngest leaf of the tea plants are carefully hand-picked and processed in small batches. Using traditional hand-processing methods, the leaves are rolled into its famously distinct fish hook-like shape before the small batches go into a wood-fired oven, resulting in a bold and complex green tea. Packaging size: 50g (about 14 servings with multiple steepings per serving)
