This incense holder is made using 100% tin, which is soft and malleable. The petals can be gently bent and shaped to your desire. The holder also comes with 3 fragrant incense sticks, making this a wonderful gift. Tin is the most expensive metal after gold and silver. Tin does not easily rust and is antibacterial. Nousaku's tinwares are often nicknamed "tincry" after the cracking sounds the ti makes when bent. Yet, despite these cries, it does not easily break.

Gift box includes: tin tulip incense holder, 3 incense sticks

Nousaku began manufacturing Buddhist ritual objects, Japanese tea sets and vases made of brass and bronze in Takaoka, Japan in 1916. The city has flourished since 1609, and built its reputation as the center of the copper industry in Japan over those 400 years. The company is famous for its wind bells, tableware, and home decoration.

Casting is a manufacturing process in which a molten metal is poured into a mold to form an object of the desired shape. Every Nousaku product starts with the creation of a sand mold, and then undergoes several finishing processes. Hand-finishing by experienced craftsmen accentuates its material beauty and fineness.
