This genmaicha is produced and blended by Shogyokuen, a tea factory that has been cultivating Japanese tea from the fields of Uji City in Kyoto, Japan, for over 190 years. Genmaicha is typically made with later-season, more mature leaves such as bancha, but this particular blend uses high-grade, first-flush sencha harvested in early spring, combined with toasted rice to create a balanced flavor profile that is both vegetal and nutty. Packaging size: 50g (about 10 servings with multiple steepings per serving)
